A Touch of Understanding is hosting the 5th annual AccessToCare Fair which is designed to offer practical and professional resources to individuals and families affected by disability and special needs. The entire community is welcome to this free event, the only one of its kind in Northern California. On average, the AccessToCare Fair draws over 1000 people each year. Childcare for typical children and those with special needs is available.
The event kicks off with friendly, but serious competition among the Sacramento Cagers wheelchair basketball team, former professional sports stars, local media personalities, and others. An entertaining half-time show includes local team mascots, half-court shooting contest and great raffle prizes.
